 Sun Microsystems Middle East and North Africa highlights its growing range of software solutions at the Gitex 2005 exhibition, celebrating ten years of Java innovation. Sun and its partners will address some of the most pressing regional business concerns, including how to secure and manage information, reduce cost and complexity, and run enterprises more effectively. During Gitex, Sun will also be showcasing its new range of AMD Opteron processor-based servers, as well as the latest version of the Sun Java Desktop System (JDS) for greater office productivity.

Sun will also promote its $1m iForce data centre, which is part of a collaborative effort with its channel development provider for the region, Tech Access. Customers use this facility for free to ‘test before they invest’ in Sun solutions. |
