Rashed Alabbar combines excellent technical and commercial knowledge and experience to fulfill his role at eCompany as Product Manager of eSecurity Services. He is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the eSecurity Services Portfolio and for introducing new Security products and services to eCompany services in the market. His hybrid and extensive experience in IT Security operations, consulting, sales and marketing allows him to fit this role perfectly.

Pashed brings diverse experience from his earlier roles in the ICT sector in the US and in Dubai. He worked for a couple of ISP's as a Project Manager and a Senior Developer enriching his IT skills while still studying in the US but his exposure to IT Security began when he joined Dubai Police's IT Department as Servers & Systems Administrator. His grasp of the IT security field grew when he joined Datafort as Engineer of Security Operations & Management at the Dubai Internet City's Subsidiary. Rashed moved on to higher positions in technical security operations and finally moved on to security consulting.

Datafort facilitated Rashed's journey into the business side of the IT Security when he was promoted to the post of Regional Sales Manager where he gained market know how.

Fluent in English and Arabic, Rashed holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Wollongong in Dubai and is pursuing an MBA degree with the University of Bradford, UK.
