Hareth BaniMustafa, Business Development Manager for the Unwired Division, Sybase Products Middle East
Sybase Products Middle East has signed a strategic partnership deal with Mirnah Technology Systems (MTS), a leading provider of Technology Services in the Mobile Computing Industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As per the partnership agreement, MTS will promote Sybase's mobility solutions such as the Unwired Accelerator, SQL Anywhere and PocketBuilder to its customers and also develop its own mobile computing solutions using Sybase technologies.

MTS is one of the largest Sales Force Automation systems vendor in the Middle East and has helped large FMCG companies and enterprises mobilize their sales force. MTS' major strength lies in its experience of over 15 years in implementing Mobile Computing solutions in the Middle East and its experienced team of professionals, who have a thorough understanding of the mobility market as well as a solid reputation for quality, making them an ideal partner to promote Sybase's mobility solutions such as the Unwired Accelerator, SQL Anywhere and PocketBuilder in Saudi Arabia.

Hareth BaniMustafa, Business Development Manager for the Unwired Division, Sybase Products Middle East, said, "MTS is one of the largest Sales Force Automation systems vendor in the Middle East and has helped large FMCG companies and enterprises mobilize their sales force. We look forward to leveraging our partnership with MTS to provide customers in Saudi Arabia with unique and powerful end-to-end mobility solutions. "

"Sybase provides complete mobility solutions that enable companies to build applications that are independent of delivery devices and wireless network standards. Both MTS and Sybase have great experience in delivering Mobile computing solutions and hence both companies will benefit by collaborating with each other," added Abdullah Aldamer, CEO, MTS.

A major challenge for MTS was to mobilise SAP Applications for their clients. With Sybase's 'Unwired Accelerator', a technology which is certified to work on SAP, MTS is now able to make SAP accessible. Sybase will also be working closely with MTS to promote its frontline device management solution, Afaria, which would give enterprises full control of various handheld devices and laptops remotely in every aspect such as security, application and firmware updates, patches, inventories and so on. Sybase will also assist MTS in developing its own mobility solutions as well as mobilizing different systems such as SAP implementations.

MTS provides complete route accounting infrastructures including handheld computers, mobile printers, and the software necessary to integrate them into a complete working solution. They work with different clients in a range of diverse industries where salesmen can now be in constant touch with their offices using their handheld devices. MTS has also developed a collection of middleware products and tools to employ when delivering their systems and services. With Sybase, MTS will now be able to build custom-made applications for the different industries to work online and offline.
