BenQ introduces ultra-compact digital projector in MidEast
 -  Sunday, January 06 2008

BenQ has unveiled its new line of ultra-compact digital projectors in the Middle East - the CP220c.

A highly portable presentation tool for mobile professionals on the go, the sleek-designed CP220c weighs a mere 1.8 kg and can be easily carried from meeting room to meeting room. It is packed with an array of innovative features including the Off & Go function, real-time auto keystone and auto source detection – all in an incredibly small footprint.

The lightweight CP220c projects native XGS resolution (1024 x 768) and features a brightness of 2000 ANSI Lumens along with the world-class Carl Zeiss lens for superior optical performance. The projector comes with a brushed metal keypad design with a smart sliding lens cover in a trendy magnesium alloy casing.

"BenQ has always taken the lead in product innovation in digital imaging technology, and we break new ground yet again with the launch of the CP220c,”said Manish Bakshi, GM, Middle East & Africa, BenQ. "With its superior lens quality and unique colour matching technology, the CP220c belies its size to offer an ultimate viewing experience."

"The CP220c redefines conventional notions of a portable digital projector, allowing mobile professionals to enjoy never-before convenience and ease-of-use without compromising in the least on picture quality and overall performance," he added.

The exclusive colour matching technology incorporated in CP220c ensures faithful colour reproduction that achieves greater accuracy and balances saturation through the Golden Ratio Color Wheel.

The CP220c's handy Off-and-Go function with its built-in circuit system enables users to unplug the projector immediately after giving a presentation as the cooling fan continuously operates even after unplugging.

The CP220c also features real-time auto keystone automatically checks the projector's tilting angle and immediately corrects the projected image and a security protection function that prevents unauthorized usage.

Furthermore, the projector comes with a full-function remote control and a variety of PC and video connectivity options for optimal compatibility. The CP220c is currently available in all major markets in the Middle East, including the UAE.

“We will continue to focus our efforts on enhancing our Research and Development capability so we can keep bringing revolutionary new imaging solutions that meet the evolving requirements of consumers in the Middle East," Bakshi said.
